This page will be updated from time to time  to show examples of students' work from all areas of technology.

The Sixth Form have started designing with the new CADCAM equipment in mind.  Lewis Perry designed an acrylic point of sale display that will support the latest CD by the pop group Unit Three.

Matthew Redwood designed and constructed a POS display also in acrylic to promote the best selling video and DVD in a Taunton music store.

This is a point of sale leaflet holder, designed and made by Katy Buff (U6).  It was constructed in card and vinyl using a computer controlled cutting machine.
This point of sale promotional display was designed for a music store by Hannah Cox (U6).  It is made from card, clear acrylic and the lettering is cut from vinyl.  Hannah designed the display to hold the latest CD by local band Pineapple Thief.  The CD cover was also designed using Corel Draw software.

This land yacht was constructed by Simon Parsons (U6) and can be seen here during a trial on the school field.  Simon is a keen wind-surfer and decided to apply his technology skills to provide a land-based alternative to his hobby.
An unusual but very effective CD rack was constructed by Daniel Shortland (U6).  Daniel is a member of a local band working with Chard Baptist Church and he decided to design and make an acrylic display for their locally produced CDs.

The Government's promotion for healthy eating encouraged the Year 11 theme for graphics projects at Holyrood.  Students were required to promote the eating of five fresh fruit or vegetables every day.  Students produced displays targeted at all ages and branches of society from the very young to the very old.

This year the theme was containers for healthy snacks and we hope to feature some of those on this page in the near future.
This photograph shows a leaflet holder promoting the campaign.
